Dr. Hanson graduated from the University of Sydney in 2014 and began his veterinary journey in small animal practice in Sydney's eastern suburbs. In 2018, he embarked on a venture of working in the UK, where he practiced in London and Rochester while exploring Europe. His time abroad not only broadened his veterinary expertise but also deepened his passion for delivering exceptional care to pets and their families.

Since returning to Australia, Dr. Hanson has honed his skills in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine, areas of particular interest to him. Dr Hanson has also completed the BOAS Surgery course where he has learnt skills to enhance the lives of brachycephalic pets.  

Now, 2025 as the proud owner and General Manager of North Rocks Vet Hospital, Dr. Hanson is committed to leading a team that provides compassionate, high-quality care to every patient.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hanson enjoys exploring Japanese culture, cooking, and discovering new whiskies. He also has a soft spot for his mischievous ginger cat, Gary, and loves catching up with friends at the footy. Dr. Hanson looks forward to welcoming you and your beloved pets to North Rocks Vet Hospital.

Jodie began her journey in the veterinary industry in 2016, bringing with her a diverse skill set and a passion for continuous growth and learning. Initially starting as a student veterinary nurse in Western Sydney, she completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2018. From there, Jodie expanded her expertise, taking on roles in reception, reception management, and eventually Assistant Practice Manager, where she leveraged her Diploma in Business Administration and furthered her skills through specialised Practice Management training.

With a background as a qualified hairdresser and a Certificate IV in Nutrition, Jodie’s varied experience has shaped her unique approach to managing teams and fostering a supportive, thriving workplace. After eight years with her previous clinic, she embraced the opportunity to join North Rocks Vet Hospital as Practice Manager, excited by the chance to help build a compassionate and successful practice from the ground up.

Jodie’s dedication to professional development and creating a positive work environment ensures both the team and clients of North Rocks Vet Hospital receive exceptional care and support. She’s passionate about helping her team grow and looks forward to making North Rocks a trusted and welcoming place for pets and their families.
